Dr Michael Krasovitsky

Dr Michael Krasovitsky is a medical oncologist at St Vincent's Hospital Darlinghurst specialising in geriatric oncology, supportive care & toxicity management, liver malignancies, thyroid cancers, and cancers of unknown primary.  He is the chair of the Geriatric Oncology multi-disciplinary service at St Vincent's.  He holds an MBBS with honours from the Australian National University, and has also completed higher training in biostatistics and epidemiology as part of a Masters of International Public Health (Distinction) through UNSW.  Dr Krasovitsky is chair of the Geriatric Oncology Emerging Experts and Researchers group (GOEER), as well as a member of the COSA Geriatric Oncology executive.  He is involved in a number of quality improvement initiatives locally and nationally, primarily focussing on end of life care, systemic therapy safety, and supportive care.  He is also involved in a number of research endeavours, with his primary focus being on providing optimal cancer care to older individuals with cancer.
